NFC Fight Night is taking place on May 27th. Red corner fighters are confirmed and now it is our pleasure and privilege to reveal to all MMA Fans out there that Timo-Juhani "Tipi" Hirvikangas is going to face Marc Gomez in the main fight of the night!

Marc Gomez was last seen in Finland in the beginning of October when he faced Toni Tauru in EuroFC's first Event. That time it was Gomez whose hand was raised after the fight was over. We know that this was not the result Tauru nor the Finnish MMA fans were waiting for. In order to find Tipi a worthy opponent we saw an opportunity to make great things happen – a good matchup and a chance for the Finnish MMA and Tipi to make things right.

Gomez has a solid record of 20 wins and 8 losses. Gomez has won 11 out of his last 12 fights and is on a winning streak of six fights. A simple look at statistic will tell you that Tipi has his work cut out for him. But then again it is for sure that this is not going to bother Tipi. Like Tipi says: first I take him down, then I can take him out for a beer.

As many people know, this is an important fight for both Fighters. Tipi and Marc are experienced professionals who aspire to make it all the way to the UFC. This means that when the stakes are this high, Tipi and Marc are going to put a ultimate fight showdown.
