Sporting CP is on track for the championship, defeating fifth-ranked Vitória SC 3-0. Trincão's skillful play on the right flank set up Pedro Gonçalves for the opener at the 30-minute mark. Before halftime, Gonçalves assisted Györkeres, who scored against goalkeeper Bruno Varela. Trincão then switched to the left, enabling Györkeres to score his second, reaching 24 goals this season. With coach Rúben Amorim, Sporting leads by 10 points with four games left. A win in their next game could clinch the title.
