Description

Isaiah Chapman (7-3) will compete for the inaugural professional flyweight title, as he will face Blaine Shutt (6-2).. The bout will be five, five-minute rounds and the winner will be crowned the promotion's 125-pound champion.

This will be the second headlining effort for Chapman under the Honor FC banner, as he topped Robert Walker via first round knockout at the promotion's debut event in October That bout was the first for "The Beast" in more than 16 months, as the one-time World Series of Fighting veteran snapped a two-fight losing streak with the win. He's ranked as the No. 1 pro flyweight in Ohio by Tapology. Chapman told BluegrassMMA earlier this week that he'd be ‘honored‘ to become the promotion's first champion.

Shutt comes in from Pennsylvania looking to spoil Chapman's hopes of a title. Five of his six wins have come via submission, including a rear naked choke over Lloyd Thornton in his last outing at Art of War Cagefighting 1 in his last outing last April. He's ranked as the No. 6 pro flyweight in Pennsylvania by Tapology.
