Description
February 4, 2017. EPW "Hot Summer's Night". Cyril Jackson Rec Centre. Bassendean, WA
2017 kicked off with a bang as EPW's Hot Summers Night hit Bodyslam Central in a big way.
Gavin McGavin walked out of ReAwakening 15 as the first ever EPW Coastal Champion and
wasted no time in bringing the title around Australia, however when presented with his
first opponent, the man who both started and finished the inaugural rumble for the
title against McGavin Alex 'AK47' Kingston, McGavin has wasted no time in demonstrating
his scorn for someone he defines as "not a real wrestler".
While McGavin has been successful in his self imposed title defences over east the
question stands on if Kingston will bring his ego crashing back down to Earth.
Throughout 2016 the tag team division within EPW has been hotly contested with a level
of animosity between teams which has not been seen in recent history. While the elimination
tables match for the EPW Tag Team titles crowned new champions the result was still mired
in controversy.
At Hot Summer's Night EPW would see the return of a match which has only be contested
twice before, The Riot Den.
Four teams will enter the Den, four teams will brutalise each other with every conceivable
weapon available including the steel cage surrounding the ring, but only one team will walk
out as the EPW Tag Team Champions.
